eulogy - tribute
A ‘eulogy’ is a formal expression of praise for somebody or something. It is most commonly used in reference to a tribute somebody makes to the deceased at a funeral, but can also be used to express high praise delivered in other contexts. Can sometimes be based more on flattery or egotism than truth.
